Over the years Amnesty International often referred to Sadnaya Prison as a “slaughterhouse” and as far back as 2017 it found evidence that thousands of people had been executed there.

Most were killed in mass hangings or tortured to death, including by being deprived of food, water and medicine.
Countless Syrian families whose loved ones “disappeared” into a prison system many describe as dungeons or death camps will now face the gruesome task of identifying the victims.

This podcast says there are now Telegram groups where people share morgue photos of victims to help relatives identify them. Does anyone know how to get into those Telegram groups?
