Carcel versus Martin of Holland

Can't decide who gets my ultimate vote - Carcel or Martin.
I guess I can't live/die without either.
Maybe there are other artists out there we can claim our own?

I like Carcel better because his stuff is very realistic. Martin is a close second.

Both are great but I give my vote to Carcel because of his brilliant use of nails, spikes and needles.

Martin is cool but I've always thought the realism of Carcel's drawings of the male physique add more to the enjoyment of the experience.

Agree about Carcel and his finesse... but sometimes the beauty of his draughtsmanship maybe gets in the way of what's actually happening in the picture? Just a thought.
I guess I have Carcel days and Martin days... depends on my mood!

Carvel is great but I prefer Holland. His work is less complex butit is easy to image participating in receiving the attention of his glorious hulks. And there is often a sense of connection and affection between the hulks and their victims which I don't see in Carcel.

The very lack of connection and affection is what draws me to Carcel. He is totally dispassionate in his killing. His kills are so fucking innovative, and his victims so sexy.
