An opinion article was recently published in a scientific journal by two British doctors from U.K. They make a case that in Britain, donor semen is at shortage, and one way to resolve it is to allow collecting semen from men who died less than 48 hours ago. This would be regulated as deceased organ donation.
This news begs my fantasies. The donors should certainly be young males who died traumatic deaths: otherwise semen quality would be affected by age or disease. Semen donors always have to be selected carefully for the sake of future kids, so the dead donors for sure will be in good shape and good looking. Let's take this fantasy further: wouldn't it be much easier just to select young healthy men in good physical condition, kidnap and kill them for semen collection?
