It was scorching summer. After being besieged for few days on a roof top, three commandos from SPPD SWAT unit were in desperate need of backup. All their water and ammo were running out. Temperature remained so high, that they had to take off their combat vest as the only measure to stay cool. However, they could not get in contact with the HQ.
After the drug cartel successfully took control of a nearby high-rise, all three of the SWAT members were exposed to snipper's viewfinder from the other rooftop. Officer Neo and officer Ramel were both shot at the same time, while officer Sakhr, who was trying to help Ramel, who had been convulsing while taking his last breath, was also shot in the back of his neck. All three of them were pronounced KIA later by SPPD and honoured with purple hearts.
