The Thwaites Glacier is the size of Florida or the UK, big enough to raise world sea-levels by 2 feet and holding back other glaciers that could raise sea-levels by a further 8 ft. Now a lake two-thirds the size of Manhatten has formed underneath it, raising fears that the whole glacier may detach from its rockhead and slide straight off - presumaby sending one hell of a tsunami into the South Pacific though the articles don't mention that.

Hey - Thinking of Florida, is that enough to take Mar-o-Lago out?
