FPJ's Ang Probinsyano: Death of Gener Guinto
Gener Guinto (played by Jeric Raval) was a prisoner at New Bilibid Prison, who escaped along with his friends Ramil Taduran (played by Michael de Mesa), Julian Valerio (who was also killed during the rescue; played by Julio Diaz, who was arrested in real life for illegal drugs), and Jimboy Escano (played by Jayson Gainza), who knew about Ricardo Dalisay's (played by Coco Martin) whereabouts. They went to Isla Muerte (lit. Death Island, parody of Corregidor Island) to rescue him. But, he was riddled with bullets by Sen. Mateo de Silva (played by Joko Diaz) and his men. Ramil, Jimboy, and Cardo successfully escaped and united with surviving members of Pulang Araw (lit. Red Sun) to form Vendetta. De Silva was also able to escape before dying Gener finally triggered the explosives
