This photo of Liz in the pool is not connected with Paul Bowles' mention of seeing her in Tangier, but it's my favorite portrait...and I'd say "solid and luscious" is about right.

I think her performance in "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?" alone was sufficient to secure her reputation.
