Meltdown and Spectre security flaws are so big they now have their own logos.

Hi all,

As you may have already heard serious security flaws that could let attackers steal sensitive data, including passwords and banking information, have been found in processors designed by Intel, AMD and ARM.

The flaws, named Meltdown and Spectre, were discovered by security researchers at Google’s Project Zero in conjunction with academic and industry researchers from several countries. Combined they affect virtually every modern computer, including smartphones, tablets and PCs from all vendors and running almost any operating system.

CDG server is also affected and the website will be unavailable for everybody while we install the new security patches.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause in advance. We can't give exact time frame at the moment.

Warm regards,

CDG TEAM

Thanks for giving us notice, obviously needs doing as soon as you are able.

These security issues are always unsettling, but I feel a bit better knowing every single computer in the world has the same problem.
