I'm glad to see I'm not the only person with holes in his socks.
Yes, war is bad, seawz999, but there are some instances where war is thrust upon you. For instance, if a party of Comanches visits a homestead in the middle of nowhere, and rapes, tortures, scalps and kills the entire family, women and children included, nobody is going to want to arrange a meeting to resolve differences peacefully. Every surviving settler in the area is going to want to wage war on the Indians, to kill as many of them as possible. War is part of human nature...bad but unavoidable. I don't understand the conflict in and around Syria, but it's safe to assume that these people don't want to talk. They want to go to war and kill.
