Darren Rainey, 50 a mentally ill inmate was thrown into a steaming shower by prison guards at Dade Correctional Institution, Florida.
Autopsy photos from 2012. He was serving a two-year prison term on a cocaine charge.
According to the autopsy report Rainey suffered from heart disease and severe schizophrenia, for which he had been taking Haldol, a potent anti-psychotic drug that is known to elevate body temperatures and affect blood pressure and the heart. Cause of death was ruled accidental.

Those are fascinating photos! I remember this case from the news. The prison guards probably got away with murder, but that's not surprising. The justice system in the U.S. is dysfunctional and corrupt. Is that thrush we see on the gums of this corpse? His eyeballs appear to have been boiled.
