Halloween is less than a week away, and it is the time that legend and folklore says that the barrier between the worlds of the living and the dead is at its thinnest. At the stroke of true midnight, not the man made time, but when the sun is directly opposite to your position on earth, between October 31 and November 1, people can reach across this barrier into the after world. here is quote from an article called "The History of Halloween":

"ANCIENT ORIGINS OF HALLOWEEN
Halloween’s origins date back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced sow-in). The Celts, who lived 2,000 years ago in the area that is now Ireland, the United Kingdom and northern France, celebrated their new year on November 1. This day marked the end of summer and the harvest and the beginning of the dark, cold winter, a time of year that was often associated with human death. Celts believed that on the night before the new year, the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead became blurred. On the night of October 31 they celebrated Samhain, when it was believed that the ghosts of the dead returned to earth. In addition to causing trouble and damaging crops, Celts thought that the presence of the otherworldly spirits made it easier for the Druids, or Celtic priests, to make predictions about the future. For a people entirely dependent on the volatile natural world, these prophecies were an important source of comfort and direction during the long, dark winter."

In the ancient world of the Celts, "Samhain" bonfires were lit, and sacrifices were made, often including human sacrifices by burning alive. Death and life are blurred, and not exclusive, the dead can walk in the world of the living, and the living can walk in the world of the dead. For many people Halloween is the most powerful of all the celebrations of the year.

To me, someone who has crossed over and come back, this is very real. I've also experienced powerful visions, some would call them "visitations" when people who have died have re-entered my life. I'm curious if there are other people in this dark community who have had similar experiences?

Tonight is Guy Fawkes night, also, known as bonfire night, the night when w celebrate the death of Guy Fawkes, the guy who unsuccessfully tried to blow up,parliament. A night where he is burns in effigy on bonfires throughout the country. And a night where our beloved Fireboots needs to be restrained from celebrating his ultimate fantasy and desire.
Hope he is well restrained until the day and the immediate urge magnified by the day diminish.
So hope there is no news report that he has succeeded.
Roll on tomorrow and long life to you, Fireboots. You may escape one day so perhaps it might be bette to say "long life till then"

 Well Lindler, I did manage to avoid jumping on a bonfire at a huge outdoor Halloween party, thought urge was strong :horny: but If we did Guy Fox bonfire night here, it might have been too much of a temptation! :stroke::hahahahha:
