Emilyn Villanueva Calano (October 8, 2001 - January 4, 2017) was shot at the top of her head while texting with her head bowed by Renato Sy, Jr. while trying to shoot barangay tanod (watchman) Patricio Muñoz during the fight where he missed and the bullet hit Emilyn instead on New Year's Eve 2016 in Malabon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. She was initially thought to be the victim of a stray bullet. She died after four days of fighting at Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center in Santa Cruz, Manila.

MANILA - Emilyn Villanueva Calano, the 15-year-old scholar left in deep coma by a bullet that lodged in her head on New Year's eve, has died, News5 reported Wednesday evening, quoting doctors at Dr. Jose R. Reyes Memorial Medical Center.
The teener from Malabon, who was just outside their house to watch fireworks, succumbed at 6:10 p.m.
This, as conflicting theories about how Calano was struck by the bullet on New Year’s Eve that left her in a coma and fighting for her life had added to the confusion surrounding the case.
The National Bureau of Investigation mounted a parallel probe into the incident, after doctors, Calano's family, and neighbors doubted the police theory that she was collateral damage in a shooting incident between two men, and not the victim of a stray bullet from the New Year revelry.
Before she died Wednesday evening, Emilyn remained four days at the Surgery Intensive Care Unit of the Jose Reyes Memorial Medical Center, outside which her family had kept vigil."

I decided not to post the pictures of her upon arrival at the hospital because she was still alive at that time. There are some funeral photos and videos, but I only found a photo showing her dead face. Justice for her.

30-year-old prostitute Cristina Marino Padual, was shot to death by unidentified gunmen riding on a motorcycle at a food stall at Commonwealth Avenue, Brgy. Holy Spirit, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines at around 6:40 PM on March 3, 2017. The motive for her murder is illegal drug trade because she possessed illegal drugs.
Aside from her, a man nicknamed "Alvin" (poorly shown) was also shot to death nearby.

34-year-old Liza dela Cruz Montano was shot to death during robbery in Brgy. Santo Niño, Calumpit, Bulacan at around 5:30 PM on August 18, 2016.
The headless body was identified as 17-year-old Richelle Retubale Sagang, of Liloy, Zamboanga del Norte, daughter of farmer Noel Sagang and Helen Retubale. She left her hometown about two years ago to work as a housemaid at Ayala Alabang Village in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila.

Anchor (don't know his name): An 8-year-old girl was found suffocated to death inside her car in her car. Her aunt did not notice that the girl was sleeping. Jen Calimon, returning.
Jen Calimon (reporter): Joan [Papa] cannot believe that her family trip last Tuesday [January 3, 2017] was the last time with her foster child Janna Jacobe alive. 8-year-old Janna was suffocated to death after being left inside her car. At 3:00 AM yesterday [January 3, 2017], they got home from a family trip. They slept together, and they woke up at 7:00 AM, Joan finally noticed that the girl was missing.
Joan Papa (victim's guardian): When I entered the house at 7:00 AM, I asked the child seated next to the girl. I asked if Janna was there. She was sleeping while being left inside the car. That was when we were alerted that she was left inside.
Jen Calimon (reporter): The car was immediately searched, and the girl was found there. She was lifeless and became pale. The dead body of 8-year-old girl Janna was found at the backseat of her car. Her fellow passengers told that they did not notice that she was not included when they got out of their car. Joan was deeply emotional regarding her foster child's tragic death.
Joan Papa (victim's guardian): We don't really know. God knows. I didn't accept that I didn't tell to help her. Even though she did not come from me [Meaning, not her biological daughter], I grew her up. I love her. I cannot accept that she accidentally died.
The child will be undergoing autopsy to determine whether there was a foul play. Even though the accident is ruled out, Joan's husband, who is the car driver, will face "negligence resulting in homicide" when the incident happened. Umaaksyon [lit.
