Nice idea but doesn't work ! To remove the bayonet but a boot on the enemy body and pull the rifle butt and stock back hard. Always works. If enemy is still alive - repeat drill and thrust into him again.

Aye the drill is - parry, thrust, turn, extract - repeat if enemy soldier not dead, double kill is best to be sure, move on to next enemy soldier.
