A determined individual could anonymously post a bunch of childporn then anonymously tip the government(s), which is why you have to be on your guard all the time.

Jeb made a VERY good point! When my NecroErotic site was getting a great deal of hits, I used to get emails all the time inviting me to visit site such and such and view "naked kids getting nasty!", "preteen porn" and other obvious entrapment based messages. Likewise, I had people threatening to report me to the cops, calls to the FBI to 'shut me down', complaints logged w/ my server, postal affidavits filed against me (when the NecroErotic was a paper 'zine), etc, etc, ad nauseum. None of those efforts did anything to deter my efforts and the site stayed up. :)

I am gonna have to play Devil's advocate here. I kind of see his point. Many of the threads on this site are about guys who have just died (many in very unfortunate circunstances). Some people understandlby may see this as a desrespectful behavior towards the deceassed. Let's be honest here, wouldn't you get a bit annoyed if someone who you deeply cared about, say your mother, brother or spouse died and then you find out a picture of their dead body is being displayed on a website where members have a thing for dead people?

Yes, I too can see how someone would get offended by a photo of a loved one's corpse followed by necro-sexual comments. At the same time, none of us were born w/ the 'right' not to be offended. Had this guy simply written something along the lines of, "I for one think it is tasteless to show dead bodies in a sexual way and I would never condone such a practice", it would be understandable. I do think he crosses the line, however, when he openly says he is going to find a way to shut the site down.

This is a really hard topic. Honestly, if that guy came up to me and I explained why he thinks this site should shut down and I had the power to shut it down I would probably shut it down because the pain of seeing a loved one's body being exploited like this is terrible. Dont take this the wrong way, but classifying the exploitation of a dead corpse's image for sexual thrill as just "tasteless" doesnt quite cover it. Some people may say it is cruel and sickning...
I am not trying to be a pain in the ass, but I think we should reconsider some of the material on this website..I am not saying get rid of everything, but maybe try our best to make the images as annonymous as possible (some of the threads here tell you the name and age of the body).

I think the webpage should be accessible ony for registered members, there are a lots of things that are open to the general public. If there is a risk of this group closing down will be for that reason, visitors that are curious and not agree with this fetish being able to get too much information from the public places of this group. or a family member seen their relatives exposed here.

If someone has an issue with this site then they don't have to visit it. If they had a loved one posted on this site AND the picture was private then they could ask for it to be removed. Outside of that they have no right demanding shit. The world is a terrible place, if they can't stand to see the ugliness of it then either look the other way or remove yourself from existence. I for one would love to be displayed on here when I die. Are we a little twisted? Perhaps. But less twisted than child molesters, child abusers, spouse abusers and animal abusers. They should try to get some of them off the streets before pointing the finger at us. We don't really hurt anyone. And I personally don't find admiration as wrong.

Awesome post bindi.

:5 stars:

It's hilarious to see so many of you refusing to accept that fact that nasy shit happens on Earth every day, we just report & discuss events.

I agree that some comments are disturbing but if we delete them we are just closing our eyes to the real world, and that's just childish and retarded.

If you think a post is too extreme click on the "report post" icon and we will look into it and get back to you within 24 hours.

This is not a criticism of this site. I just think it is important for us to understand why people feel the way that they feel. The reason why I still think we should not use the body's name is because someday a friend or family member may come across this site and will probably wont like what he is seeing. Whether we like it or not, this can become a really serious problem in the future so we should be proactive. If we are gonna exploit someone;s loved one, let's at least do them the favor of trying to make sure they never find out. I dont think I am being that unreasonable,
By the way, I dont think it is the right aproach to try to minimize this issue bt saying that there is uglier things in the world. I absolutelly agree that in comparision with some of the terrible things that go on in the world what we do is pretty mild. Instead, let's learn from what has happened and try to avoid a bigger problem in the future.

Might be wise to do what other bloggers and adult photo sites do and post an appropriate "takedown policy."
Here's an example you could re-word:

Notice and takedown policy

I ran into something of the same problem last year w/ one of my blogs. The niece of a (now deceased) young woman I once knew was highly offended that I mentioned that her sister was a necrophiile and a Satanist. In her first email, she threatened to sue me and (literally) wrote something like, "Stop! Stop!" I told her in no uncertain terms that I do not cave in to threats and that I don't deal w/ hysterical people I further told her that if I was harassed in any way for reporting what was known to be true about her aunt, I would counter sue her!
She wrote back the next day w/ a much different attitude and asked me, "Please, think of her niece. I don't want my grandma to see this stuff!" I then took down the woman's name
and referred to her only by a nickname. Problem solved. Threats, bad attitudes and/or calls to "shut someone down", however, should never be given in to because that would only encourage more of the same.

Yes, yes, thats all well and good. But I would be asking why someone that would be offended be on CDG to begin with. Also, you could be creating another, much bigger and messier problem. There are a LOT of people out there that would love to shut down death related sites. All they would have to do is come on here, claim they know the person and request removal. If enough of these people did that you would have no site at all. They are like a cancer, one pops up and spreads, before you know it 100 or more people team up to bitch and moan and poof, gone. No, I feel for some of these GENUINE people that their loved one has died. I'm not some sociopath without a sense of compassion. I just think that once you start making these allowances it starts a domino effect. No I think the site should stay as it is. You start poking holes in CDG and it will begin to degrade.

You really don't have to. I think most of us have gone through a period questioning about this or still in the process.

I applied for a membership to a certain fetish site although I am not into that. After five days or so, they terminated my membership. I think somebody I was communicating ratted out, but just about anything I saw on the site were considered wrong or abnormal. So I am thinking, "scat, S&M, and bondages are ok, but not this. Interesting." I did mention crash reports, etc., but did not post any offensive images.

Also about "RealJocks" site. I wrote this somewhere, but only those who aren't confident about their "jockeness" care if they are "real" jocks or not IMHO. I think "real" men are really real men no matter what they do whether they are gay or straight.

I agree.

Some of my ex boyfriends had difficult lives yet never complained and like real sodliers they chose to confront their problems and not give in.

.....while on New Year's my sister's 100% str8 boyfriend came to visit, we were left alone in the kitchen for a while an he "confessed" to me.

He hates his current job, he missed his parents etc.....blah-blah....it was all pussy talk, what a retard.

I didn't say anything.
