Three people were killed in a crash outside Hatton Cross Underground station this morning.
Officers were called at 6am this morning after reports of a car colliding with a van on the A30 Great South West Road.
The car, which contained four occupants is believed to have been attempting to turn in the road when it hit the van.
Two men, both occupants of the car – were pronounced dead at the scene.
The female driver of the car was taken to a central London hospital where she subsequently died.
The fourth passenger, a man, has been taken to a south London hospital but is not believed to be seriously injured.
The driver of the van was not injured.
No arrests have been made and officers from the Road Death Investigation Unit are investigating.
