The weather here is very bad - hurricane force wind and lashing rain have been battering us for more than 48 hours non-stop, day and night!

It just doesn't stop!!! Not your usual storm but a deep cyclone more like a hurricane came inland from the Mediterranean Sea sweeping across Central and Eastern Europe.

Here is a pic of damage from yesteday - buildings are left with no roofs.

Dozens of people have been injured, some critical in hospital.

:unreal:

The weather service issued a hurricane force wind warning just hours before it hit but I think even they didn't expect it to be that bad.

Wind and rain are lashing our house day and night, the windows are vibrating.

That looks pretty bad. Sometimes it happens where I live. We have been having quite a drought here lately. I hope your community has a good response team to help the victims.

Thanks for your kind comment Snerdy. The situation is deteriorating. Electricity is cut and more people have been injured by collapsing structures.

The tram system in Sofia is no longer operational.
