I Am Not Racist!!! Why is it when push comes to shove peoples true feelings come out?

One thing I hate most about race issues, is when someone proclaims they are not racist or predujice against another race, I have learnt from personal experience and observation those who keep on proclaiming this needs to be put in the wait and see basket, wait and see after a few tricky situations, then I will know if they mean it and not just being socially accpeptable for the sake of it.

eg, Notice in the classroom how a certain race always sits next to a certain race, or how a certain race avoids certain tables and sits with other races at food courts and etc?

Regarding the above news article, I am wondering how the woman is feeling. I beat she is feeling conflicted and cunfused. I am hoping she grows positively from this as It sucks to be in he position.

I am curious to know what are your thoughts on similar situations like this?

Horrible shit really, what a stupid cop I think the police in some USA towns are not up to scratch, far too many meaningless shootings so far this year.

Horrible shit really, what a stupid cop I think the police in some USA towns are not up to scratch, far too many meaningless shootings so far this year.

There is a formula I have come up with

Input=Output
Input=All the life experiences and external factors (reading material, friends, social eviroment, typed of people and etc) that is feed into a persons life which determines output
Output=How they see the world, behave and act in it.

eg, Inputs=Blacks are criminials
Output=They will always think this until new input is submitted, but then this new input mostly gets discareded as wrong inputs

Cue endless loop.

Therefore no matter how hard they try to reform or train the cops, it is basically up to the cop themselves at the end of the day.

Having management skills and a keen interest in risk management, I have learnt the management system does not work in curing these race problems. Most of the management problems is quick fix solutions spun for positive media.

One can argue that there needs to be more education, but education into these types of matter does not work, if the person is surrounded by family or friends who are prejudiced, racist against certain races, or other officers (using this is an example only) this counter acts this education, as that person will most often go along with these people (for mostly the wrong reasons) until they work it out for themselves, which in turn will lead those already with these kinds of outputs to believe it to be true.

Endless cycle.

This is true, however I find it can create destructive us against them mentality.
