This is Moscow from a few days ago.
Wildfires continue to rage claiming lives and property.
Today came another shock. The Russian weather centre said temperatures will reach an all-time-record of 40'C (104 F).
Records in the Russian capital began more than 130 years ago and the maximum ever reached was 32-34'C.
In the mediterranean region temperatures are like in the Sahara - an insane 46'C - all time records were broken yesterday in Cyprus.
That's around 115 F.
I fear we will burn in forest fires.
In 2007 my country experienced a record breaking heat of 46'C.
The forest near our villa went on fire, it was so scary I nearly pissed myself from fear.
In my view global warming is out of control, and combined with a strong El Nino year and a solar maximum - you get a recepie for disaster, 2010 is far from over and yet so many people have lost their lives in natural disasters.

Around 1,000 people die every day in Moscow from heat stroke.
Hospitals are full and paramedics stretched to the point they fail to process all calls.
