I am happy to accept your apology DeathProof. To be fair the worse thing was losing my wife and on the principle that nothing can be worse than that your post did not upset me as much as it could have done.

Tolerance is one of the most important things we have on this site. It makes us what we are and what we aspire to be. There are many things we might disagree with but if we tolerate each other's position, challenge it if we think it's wrong, but tolerate the right of each other to put across our points of view. We may disagree with what is said but should fight to the death to protect our right to say it

Okay, as a Brit I can't really get involved in what is an American decision. But from over here Trump is a demagogue. His main interest seems to Trump, first second and third. Where he doesn't get his own way he throws all his toys out of the pram. This was shown very clearly when he threatened to withdraw investment in Scotland because he disagreed with the construction of a wind farm.
But what I find more interesting is the rise of Bernie sanders. I've always thought that a democratic socialist, someone who would probably be a member of the pre Corbyn Labour Party over here, would have no chance. But it seems that, hopefully, I may be wrong. And if he doesn't get the nomination Hilary seems a relatively safe pair of experienced hands.
Guess matters could be interesting. But please guys, don't inflict Trump on the world. He is no statesman
