I am not sure if you guys like these. None of them is very explicit.

Anyway, definitions of squids:

"An extremely rare animal with a short lifespan. Usually a new sport bike enthusiast with the reasoning of a lunatic, whom you might see thrashing on an R1 wearing sandals, shorts, and a tee.
When found lying motionless on the pavement, this creature transforms itself into a stream of blood, exposed flesh, and broken limbs. Hence the squid moniker."

Basically a poser with a sportbike.

PANAMA CITY — A Panama City man whose 12-year-old son died last week from a bicycle accident was killed in a motorcycle wreck Tuesday.

Jagger Haskins, 29, was driving south on Balboa Avenue on a purple 2006 Yamaha motorcycle at about 12:30 p.m. when a white 2001 Lincoln Mercury sedan attempted a northbound turn onto Balboa from West 12th Street and pulled into the path of the motorcycle, according to a Panama City Police Department release.

Witnesses said it appeared that Haskins first attempted to pass the car before attempting to brake.

"He hit the gas, realized he wasn't going to make it, and tried to brake," said Chris Moore, an eye witness who was riding his bicycle when the accident occurred.

Moore said Haskins' motorcycle hit the driver's side of the car head-on, flew out of control and landed to the left of the car.

Haskins' body came to rest partially under the car‘s left front tire.

David Eldridge said he heard it all happen from his home, which is located on the same block.

"I heard the cycle as it came down the street," Eldridge said. "I heard the engine rev, then scream and then pow!"

According to the Bay County Clerk of Court records, Haskins was driving on a suspended license.

Police identified the driver of the driver of the sedan as 78-year-old Daphne Rooks of Panama City.

Haskins' son, 12-year-old, Colby Allan Haskins, passed away Oct. 19 at the Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Ill., from injuries he received in a bicycle accident.

Jennifer Carr, a friend and former girlfriend of Jagger Haskins, said he was deeply affected by his son's death.

"I just picked him up from the airport on Sunday," Carr said. "He was still hurting; he just wanted to sleep a lot."

Carr said she and Jagger Haskins spent time together Tuesday morning and she dropped him off at his grandmother's home about 90 minutes before the motorcycle crash.

Carr said she has known Jagger Haskins for about four years and would miss him dearly.

"He was a good person," Carr said. "He loved his kids more than anything."

Biker killed in crash with SUV
Herald-Journal (Spartanburg, SC) - Sunday, January 6, 2008
Author/Byline: From staff reports
Section: Upstate
Page: B3
A Spartanburg man was killed Saturday afternoon after a motorcycle he was driving collided with a sports utility vehicle on Southport Road.

Capt. Randy Hardy of the Spartanburg Public Safety Department said the accident occurred about 3:55 p.m. when a 2000 Honda motorcycle driven by 20-year-old Bobby Miller Jr. of 163 Beta Club Way was traveling south on Cedar Springs Road.

Miller drove into the intersection of Cedar Springs and Southport roads under a red light, colliding with a 2004 Ford Escape that was traveling east on Southport Road, Hardy said.

The Ford SUV was driven by a 15-year-old. Police are withholding the driver's name because of his age.

The impact caused the SUV to overturn onto its roof, but the driver wasn't injured, the officer said.

Miller was pronounced dead at the scene, and his passenger, Summer Rhinehart, 18, of 247 Winfield Road suffered minor injuries, Hardy said. She was transported to Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.

Miller and Rhinehart were wearing helmets.

Motorcyclist killed in Lancaster Twp. wreck
Intelligencer Journal (Lancaster, PA)
August 20, 2007
Author: Brett Hambright Intelligencer Journal Staff
Estimated printed pages: 2

A 24-year-old motorcyclist died early Sunday when his cycle struck a parked utility truck in a Lancaster Township development, police said.
Jason Roman, of Lancaster, was pronounced dead at the scene of the early-morning crash at the intersection of Judie Lane and Michelle Drive, investigators said.

Roman was driving a 2000 Honda motorcycle on Judie Lane just after midnight when he failed to negotiate a right turn onto Michelle Drive, Lancaster city police Sgt. Richard Cosmore said.

Judie Lane ends at Michelle Drive, meaning Roman had to turn left or right at the T-intersection.

Police suspect the motorcyclist was driving too fast to negotiate the turn.

"I am assuming he knew the area, but maybe he didn't," Cosmore said. "He missed the turn and couldn't stop."

Roman and the motorcycle traveled across the intersection and struck a plumbing truck that was parked on Michelle Drive, police said.

The motorcycle came to rest pinned under the truck, investigators said.

Roman was killed on impact with the truck, investigators said. He wasn't wearing a helmet, they said.

Regardless of whether the man was familiar with the Lancaster Green development, police suspect he was driving too fast prior to the crash, Cosmore said.

"Speed (was) probably a factor in this one," he said.

An autopsy is scheduled for today, Lancaster County Coroner Dr. G. Gary Kirchner said.

Following the crash, the intersection was closed for about seven hours while police reconstructed the wreck and questioned neighbors.

City police are asking anyone with information about the crash or the motorcyclist to contact them at 735-3300. Officer Jeff Gerhart is lead investigator.

Cosmore said police hope to find out more about Roman's knowledge of the intersection and where he was headed prior to the crash.

Roman is at least the third motorcyclist to die in a Lancaster County vehicle crash over the past week, according to newspaper records.

I am not sure if I have one with college kids, but I do recall that I have one pic with a guy in military. He is covered and you don't see anything graphic, though.

If I do, I would post, but my area of interest is rather narrow. So I have to be satisfied with what I can find.

I do love graphic ones, but the ones covered also intrigue me. Don't you wonder how these squidz look under neath the cover? One good thing about squidages (squid + wreckage) in US are that I have access to accident and autopsy reports in some cases.

Friends remember Nicolai Stoliarov after fatal crash

BY MATTHEW CHAYES AND MARC BEJA | matthew.chayes@newsday.com; marc.beja@newsday.com

Friends of a Lindenhurst man killed in a motorcycle accident are remembering him as a college student well-liked in the Farmingdale area's aviation community.

Flowers, candles and model airplanes could be seen yesterday at a telephone pole at the intersection of 43rd Street and New Highway in Copiague, where Nicolai Stoliarov, 21, known as Nick, was killed.

Stoliarov, who had been married for about 10 months, was riding south on New Highway at 12:30 p.m. Friday when he struck a car driven by Michelle Alleyne, 40, as she turned from 43rd Street, police said.

Stoliarov was pronounced dead at the scene. Alleyne, of Copiague, suffered minor injuries. Both vehicles were impounded for a safety check.

Meagan Miller, 23, of Patchogue, said Stoliarov, an aviation major at Farmingdale State College, had only recently gotten the motorcycle, and that he had planned a big barbecue party for Saturday.

Miller, who said she learned of her close friend's violent death after she received a text message labeled "urgent," said she had spoken to Stoliarov the day before, and was planning to see him at his party.

"He loved having big parties and inviting all of his friends," Miller said. "He sounded so excited - he was telling me how he had been cooking and preparing for days."

Stoliarov had many friends, uniting different blocs in the aviation crowd - ranging from pilots to mechanics to professors, Miller said.

She recalled nights when she and Stoliarov hung out in Northport and downtown Babylon.

Stoliarov was employed by SheltAir Aviation Services, formerly owned by Long Island Jet Center, as a line service supervisor, his friend and co-worker Mike Pennolino said.

"It's just a nightmare," Pennolino, 24, said. "We're still looking to wake up and not believe it."

Pennolino described Stoliarov as adventurous. He loved to fly and to drive cars and his motorcycle.

"When they say the good people die young, that's exactly what happened," Pennolino said. "This world lost a damn good person."

A wake will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Johnstons' Wellwood Funeral Home in Lindenhurst.
