A British student has plunged to his death during a camping trip with friends in Spain.
Andrew Lucas was on a walking holiday with friends in the Picos de Europa mountain range, about 150 miles north of Madrid, when he fell.
The 17-year-old from Lincolnshire is understood to have fallen more than 3,000ft (914m) into a gorge.
A Foreign Office spokeswoman said: "We can confirm the death of Andrew Lucas on 30 July 2009."
It is understood Andrew had finished dinner and gone to take pictures of the sunset at a beauty spot called Collado Jermoso.
The teenager attended the Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Horncastle.
His head teacher, Tim Peacock, said Andrew was a modest, unassuming and talented student.
Peter Duxbury, director of children's services at Lincolnshire County Council, said: "We are deeply saddened by the news of this young man's death, and we offer our help and support to the school.
"Our thoughts go out to his family and friends during this difficult time."

any pics?

No pics of dead guys ever come from Britain, Spain etc and other major European countries.

Total censorship.

Death is absolutely taboo there, worse than the US.

Eh! Yah!
At least we like find ways to hack into death database.
