Frightening!
And to think a big planetoid is passing Earth today at only 27.000 km!!
The moon is just 400.000 km away, so it will pass a LOT closer than the moon!!!

Such a thing wiped out the dinosaurs. All human life can indeed end suddenly and unexpectedly. Terrible thought (that movie Meteor may be closer to a true future event than we might like).

Luckily it hit a frozen lake and the angle wasn't more like 45º or it could of been HELL!
The one at the Yucantan peninsula in Mexico some 65,000,000 years ago was pretty much a planet killer.

A CCTV captured the asteroid as it hit the atmosphere and there were other images captured by others this dude was in an alley way and looked confused when everything went really bright.
Some expode before they hit the ground like the one at Tunguska in 1908 which flattened thousands of square miles of forest.

WHAT? According to 40% of Americans, the earth is only 6000 years old. Makes you wonder why we're considered a superpower huh? Scary thought isn't it?

Tunguska 1908, I knew about since I was a kid and when I first heard about this, my mind definitely was buzzing.

Twice in about 100 years? Coincidence? not a coincidence? Why Russia, why that part of the world and etc...

Confident a few scientists are currrentlyworking on these questions....looking forward to the results, fingers crossed they will release it publicly.

A bit gutted that the UFO theory of Tunguska didn't work out...maybe I should reexamine:not sure: the details?
