ASS v ARSE

Being English , I grew up using the term ARSE, an ASS was related to the donkey. It was only exposure to the word on American tv programming and especially porn that got me using Ass and now I tend to mix the two. Although I still prefer the more rounded vowel sounds of Arse as opposed to Ass.
It's a bit like the word BOLLOCKS, which many Americans don't know, and is another word for Balls/Nuts/Cojones

I'm a Dutch native speaker, and near-native English. In my work, I speak English routinely. We decided to use the American English spelling however. Though I'm a great fan of British humor and TV series, and some of my colleagues have a real posh Queen's English accent, I tend to stick to a more neutral New England sound and choice of words. So I never say 'arse' (or brolley, or lorry, or bollocks).

What came as a surprise to me was that I find it much easier to talk dirty in English than in Dutch! I chat with English and Dutch partners, but prefer to use English even with my fellow countrymen when it becomes hot and explicit. Any other second-language users with the same experience here?

My fav words for penis are dick and cock (when flaccid), and boner, pole, ramrod etc. when erect. For fucking: to fuck, bone, screw and pound (to mention a few). For erection: hard-on and expressions like 'morning wood'. For testicles: balls and nuts.
