29-year-old Mancho Panukov is still on the loose.
BLAGOEVGRAD, SOUTHERN BULGARIA - "I can't pay my debts, thats why I am gonna kill myself and burn the house," 29-year-old Mancho Panukov told his mates in a bar yesterday.
No one believed him.
A few hours later, he took his two sons, aged 5 and 8 from an internet cafe and beheaded one boy and smashed the head of his other soon on the pavement in front of their friends and passers-by. Then he poured gasoline on his wife and set her on fire which spread and burnt badly five other people.
His wife suffered 70% burns and is in critical condition in a hospital in Sofia but doctors say she is unlikely to survive.
As it happened in a small village, the whole community will need psycotherapy after the killings, a leading expert told the National Radio.
The killer is still on the loose.
