A man who lost half of his face to cancer is having his features rebuilt by a surgeon he credits with giving him hope once more.
Tim McGrath, 38, was diagnosed with Synovial Sarcoma – an extremely rare form of soft tissue cancer - leaving him with a grape fruit-sized tumour growing on his face

That is horrifying and fascinating! I don't think I would have the courage to live through what Tim has. I would have killed myself before things had progressed so far. His appearance will, of course, improve with the reconstruction, but he's still going to look like one of those face transplant recipients. It's all too scary.
