He was sleeping in same place two days before his death. you can notice his veins visible and adam's apple is moving when he was alive. but no veins visible when he died...

because his heart stop pumping blood. no pressure in veins. so the veins disappear....

I think he died of something other than starvation. He doesn't look thin enough for that. The possibilities of what might have caused his death are endless.
