The question is wrong, should instead be: Why is only one form of human sexuality considered to be 'normal'?
There are good reasons to protect children against pedophiles, and women against rapists,
but singling out only one form of human sexuality as 'natural' is in fact highly unnatural.
Homosexuality, necrophilia, bestility (or rather inter-species mating) is behavior observed in almost ALL other animal species as well.

Because of subliminal conditioning. Because we've been lied about "everything". Because we believe everything is subjective and relative and that there is no absolutes. (I'm using "We" in a general and loose sense.)

And because we like to think whether overtly or unintentionally in secret that we are brilliant, but really we know nothing but actually pretty dumb. Or not, if you like to think otherwise.

We have owners people, whether we like it or not. One can say a lot of words to give brain-orgasms, or write mounds of psychological thesis to mesmerise simple constitutions. It is foolish to consult those versed in the School of Psychology garb without good "discernment".

To begin figuring out the answer to your question, start by asking the right questions, unless you are looking for the right question to an answer you already made your mind on to see how things could work usually in abstract.

    What is sex?
    What is sexuality?

There are plenty of those that chose to take on their bias because of certain predisposition. Words have meaning. You can't say a creampuff also means roast beef. Well you can, but that don't make it so in truth.

Sir Clement Freud was Sigmund Freud's grandson.

If you don't believe in absolutes, why should it matter.

    Right?

Less fancy. Is this a question that requests a philosophical, or enquiring about real reasons for the instances the original poster mentioned?

No matter what the rules are, there are going to be those who deviate from them...and not necessarily for a good reason. Some people just like to piss off others.

The rise in the use of Anti-depressants such as Sertraline and other Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors (SSRIs) to deal with mental health issues has had many benefits however for the vast majority the benefits outweigh the negatives but there is a small minority which experience side affects which alters their personality and leads them down a darker path.

A recent BBC article caught my attention this morning on the BBC regarding the Aurora killings titled: "The Batman Killer -
    a prescription for murder?" - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/resources/...urora_shooting
Please read the article and I will explain further below.

I myself identify with the description of the character of James Holmes growing up. The mother's remark: "Too good"; that's how others see me.
I have struggled with my sexuality for years and have been on and off anti-depressant tablets due to low mood and anxiety etc.... At the start of June 2017 I was put back on 100mg of Sertraline for my low mood. It was over the next few weeks that the pleasure derived from watching porn (mostly gay porn) started to wain. The drugs create a numbing effect. Low sex drive is a common side effect.

However my body craved the hit of pleasure from jacking off. My sex drive was fighting against the drug that typically suppresses it. My sex has gone bonkers. I might add i'm a virgin and single thus the porn.

So to get the hit I needed more and more stimulation. So more and more extreme porn has been needed. Several times a day sometimes several hours jacking off. Not sleeping cos I needed to find the next hit. My sexual deviance growing. I barely accept my sexuality normally and in such a short period of time i've found myself rapidly seeking more aggressive porn such a fisting, breath control etc... to get off.

I considered suicide and have had thoughts of just driving into an oncoming truck or crashing into the sea. The medication was taking my low mood and anxiety and making it worse. I have started self harming. Knife cutting my upper arm. The crazy thing is. I feel numb. I dont feel anything when I slice my arm.

My doctor upped my Sertraline like they did in the article to 150mg. I feel worse but have been told to keep taking them for 2 years and not to come off them...

I starting watching some breath control videos and tied a computer data cable around my neck. Quickly discovered I have a thick neck and wouldn't be effective haha. My experimentation with violent porn etc continued...Somewhere last week led me CDG. My goodness who am I? How did I end up here?

I believe a mixture of circumstance along with mind altering SSRI's has created a perfect storm in my sexuality. So yea... I don't plan on killing myself or others... but what can I say a few weeks ago I would never of thought of self-harm and have puked at what now turns me on. Make of that what you will.

But that's my thoughts at what has lead me to your fellowship and my spiral into sexual deviance...

I think you probably know as much about all of this as any doctor or medical research institute. Those so-called experts do NOT know what they are doing, but they don't hesitate to share their "findings" with patients and public. You should follow your gut instincts.
