I agree, that's a most curious tattoo. It appears to be writing that one might read as the script flows round and round until it comes to some vulgar conclusion in his crotch. Can anyone see it and translate?

Looks, to me, like it might be one of those tatoos of a rosary beads. If so, I can only imagine where that crucifix might be located.

I do believe you're right. I recognize the rosary now, and the crucifix is hanging in a sacrilegious spot.
