The cdg community is shocked and appalled by the massacare at Fort Hood and we dedicate a special thread to the victims and their families.

Spc. Jason Dean Hunt, 22, of Frederick, Oklahoma, went into the military after graduating from Tipton High School in 2005 and had gotten married just two months ago. He had served 3 1/2 years in the Army, including a stint in Iraq.

Hunt, known as J.D., was "just kind of a quiet boy and a good kid, very kind," said Kathy Gray, an administrative assistant at Tipton Schools.
His mother said he was family oriented.

"He didn't go in for hunting or sports," Gale Hunt said. "He was a very quiet boy who enjoyed video games."

He had re-enlisted for six years after serving his initial two-year assignment, she said. Jason Hunt was previously stationed at Fort Stewart in Georgia.

His sister gave an interview for CNN. :sm (47):

So sad, he was one of the cute ones.

He was absolutely staggering IMO.

Mrs. Hunt, (if that is really who you are)

According to Internet Freedom Act, we are not doing anything wrong. We put them on here to salute them how they were in life and how they looked and how they lived.
It is not any different from posting it on a Facebook or Hyves or other forum where this happens.
You are welcome to share thoughts and feelings about him, but this ranting and yelling is not going to help your case.

Also we post other dead guys here, some are soldiers from Iran or Iraq and they are dead too. We salute them for who they are and what they did, but I have no yet received ANY complaints from THEIR families about posting their pics on the net.

But because he is a dead US soldier, we are SUDDENLY not ALLOWED to post him? Very amazing, and very hypocritical.
Dead insurgents are allowed, but dead US Soldiers...oh no?!
Where do we draw the line, we do not.
You just drawn it.

Regards,
