BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Police have released the name of the suburban Buffalo man who was stabbed to death when a fight broke out at a rowdy Halloween party police had broken up twice.
Buffalo police say 19-year-old Jacob Herbert of Clarence was killed around 4:30 a.m. Saturday outside a home in the city's University Heights neighborhood.
Authorities say about 200 people attended a Halloween party that had spilled into a nearby parking lot. Police twice broke up the party but official say it started back up after officers left the scene.
Officials say Herbert was among those who returned to the party, where he got into an altercation and was stabbed multiple times.
Investigators spent Sunday tracking down partygoers for questioning. No one has been arrested.
