I've read that death is assured for jumpers exiting any floor higher than the third, but it makes sense (if you are set on doing such a thing) to take off from the very highest spot you can find. I couldn't even consider this method of suicide. The time spent in the air, though brief, would be quite long enough to think things over and start panicking.
