SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – A 30-years-old woman, listed as one of the drug personalities in the province, was gunned down by an unknown assailant while she was walking near a gas station along the national highway in Barangay 3 here Wednesday morning [August 10, 2016].
Superintendent Bryant Demot, city police station chief, identified the victim as Mary Jane B[aludda] Ujano, 30, native of Barangay Bayabas, San Gabriel town.
Demot said that Ujano sustained gunshot wounds on her head from an unknown caliber and was declared dead-on-the-spot by Dr. Godofredo Rilloraza, city health officer.
The victim carried a bag pack that contained several documents such as barangay clearance, police clearance, NBI clearance for work abroad, cellphone, tablet, and several clothes. No illegal drugs were found in her possession including her pocket pants.
