PART II. THE PREPARATION.

— The man has no possibility to hang O. by his feet so that he can empty his carcass correctly.
— Then he massages the body, molds the flesh to extract its purple "juice". He discovers for the first time the bitter smell of the human blood. He finds it disgusting. The nausea goes up to him. He realizes that he would never have been able to disembowel O., then to cut him in pieces without vomit.
He shakes the arms, shakes the legs until the flow at the level of the throat of O. stops.
— He knows that he did not empty him completely. "It's better than nothing."
— The man rinses then the corpse. He brings it out the bathtub and stretches it out on a towel to dry it.
— O. had a matt, copper-colored skin. After having be bled, he became pale, gleaming.
— The cut of his throat is soft.
— The man caresses the skin of O. which already became cold. "Now, we're going to play a little."
