ABC News, CNN and MSNBC are reporting that that actress Elizabeth Taylor has died at the age of 79.

Taylor entered Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles two months ago for treatment of symptoms of congestive heart failure.

The office is closed; I am in seclusion and mourning

I can't stop crying; Dame Elizabeth embodied what many of us are/or want to be on this forum: beautiful, sexy, super intelligent, vulgar, sublime, tacky, passion-filled, driven, a perfectionist, a heart of gold, a giver, a lover, funny, a wife, a mother, pain-ridden with massive health problems, an icon, graceful. Grace is the quality I look for--some have it, some never will; she didn't talke herself seriously, and I loved her for that! She was loved and a lover; that's all that matters in the end . . . "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf" (1966) is my favorite film of all time, alongside "Mildred Pierce" (1945) [Joan Crawford] now you know what I watch on my long haul flights . . . here's the "Getting Angry Baby?" clip from Woolf:

This has gotten me doing a stream of consciousness set in "What are you listening to now"; here are a couple of other Elizabeth pieces:

"BUtterfield 8" (1960) Trailer: (Best actress in a leading role Oscar!)

There were the notable flops . . . ! [Don't I know about flops--crickets . . . hehe] "Cleopatra" (1963)

"Boom" (1968)

A very sweet homage to "The Sandpiper" (1965)

So I'm laughing through my tears as I pray for her soul because she was also a consummate clown, one who knew how to give, and how to take . . . we will be forever graced because of her presence for such a brief time!
