Riots are taking place in large cities across Europe as the global finacial makes more and more people unemployed and struggling to survive.

Rioting is especially bad in Athens, Greece and in Riga, capital of Latvia.

Smashed shops and overturned cars can be seen in the centre of the Bulgarian capital Sofia.

As many as 50 people were injured in Sofia, more then 70 arrested.

Do you ever get involved in this stuff?

Yes. We are a small country and badly hit by the Global Economic Crisis and even more so now that Russia cut off all gas supplies. Factories close every day here.

Thousands lost their jobs, including friends who worked in banks and real estate.

I probably die in this shithole. I want to escape but where to as the whole world is a mess?

I usually don't like to bump a thread but Here I go! Meatpie leave there if you can! You have friends all over the world! Where would you feel comfortable? What is the weather like in Sofia? Consider the US maybe? Each state has a different climate in tolerance and weather! Just a thought.

The US is fucked at the moment, even worse then here.

They showed on TV people living in camps, in makeshift shelter, entire families with babies....they fucking lost their homes, their jobs!

Just outside LA, thousands of Americans are becoming homeless at the moment.

So I don't plan to go anywhere, at least for now.
