OHHH ...... I just realized that ......
The Winter Olympics of 2010
are occurring in the VERY CITY where our Dearest CDG BUDDY, "NANAIMO Eric ".... attended school at the University of British Columbia in VANCOUVER.

Here is the website of Eric's school, all talking about The Winter Olympics occurring right nearby...

I cannot bear to watch The Olmypic Winter Games for too long, because as they show the audience and spectators, I am trying to find ERIC !!

It just brings me too much heartbreak to watch these games, because IF he were really still with us, HE WOULD BE REPORTING BACK to us about all the events going on RIGHT THERE.

As a matter of FACT, Eric was an exceptional athlete himself, a very good skier, and told me back in early 2008 he was going to try out to be IN THESE VERY WINTER OLMPICS in his very CITY!

I just remembered this is where Eric WAS as I am watching the games !!!

OH ERIC....where are you ????

WHY, oh WHY wouldn't you let us help you ?!?!?!

For you, Eric, for you
(his favorite song, "I'll Be Seeing You"
sung by Rosemary Clooney):

"In EVERYTHING that's LIGHT and GAY .. "

And then this, for you, Eric....
"Adagio in Strings in G minor"

Eric was also a very good swimmer.

He send me pics of himself barefoot in his swim suit, he looked so happy in the warm sun.

Eric was fun to talk to, witty and had an amazing view on the world that I simply loved.

His demise has brought immense devastation in the hearts of the forum members who knew him.

Years have passed since he sent me that last deadful email yet the pain is strong as ever.

Eric had absolutely beautiful feet, the happy days, the happy hours we shared with him will stay with me and the other members until our croak.

Happy Valentine's Day Eric, I love you.

(eyes filled with tears, as always when we post about eric).

I wanted to write something nicve, but i just cannot do that right now....

Ok, here goes...

I miss him alot. He was such a vibrant, healthy young man who always listened to us and always was tere.

I remember him racing home to chat with me so we could at least be in touch.
Then I heard about his boyfriend, and all the things that happened...

I was so angry, but also scared and frightened.
I even called the RCMP to tell them what has happened, and they said they would get back to me...

They never did...

Oh, that was sweet. :(

Eric had great respect for you, he once told me you and Arrow were awesome dudes and he considered you both great friends.

He admired Arrow.

Dearest Pie and Enty....

I think the THREE of us were the BEST friends "Eric" EVER HAD.

He could share with us like he could share with no one else.

Eric "Nanaimo" loved each of us, and all the guys here on CDG as well.

Eric....
these are fromThe PieMan, Enty and

Obviously this man meant a lot to many of you. If its not uncomfortable to talk about, what happened to him?

"Nanaimo Eric" shared with us that he was happiest when out in nature, in his beautiful province of British Columbia and his stunnng country of Canada.

He loved to swim, jog, hike, ski and explore the Great Outdoors.

When thinking about this, the music of Johann Pachelbel's "Cannon in D Major" springs into my mind.

I present this masterwork here, knowing that it helps relieve our pain at the tragic, untimely loss of "Nanaimo", showing us all that which he loved best: our glorious natural environment, in all of its exceptional splendor.

I was watching the Final FIGURE SKATING COMPETITION in
The Winter Olympics tonight from Vancouver, British Columbia....and this theme from "LOVE STORY" was performed.

Again, I thought of Eric ... who was seeking himself (when I last heard from him in January 2008) to become a competitor in these very SAME Winter Olympic Games in February 2010 in Vancouver, British Columbia, his home.

And I just had to remember him again, just one more time ...
..."for Eric."
