The USSR is long gone but what was built under communism is gonna stay for centuries.

There are thousands of homeless people in Russia. They reside in train and metro stations.

Here is one bag lady.

In Moscow, city authorities allow beggers to sleep in the metro during cold winter nights so that they don't feeze to death.

So the metro remains open all night long to allow the homelss to seek shelter and warmth undeground.
