View Full Version : Made in Germany in 1986!

I bought some green tea today and wondered what to put it in....until I found a very old glass jar in a shelf at the balcony.

It was made in Germany in 1986 ! Mom used it to store tea in it.

We lived under communism back then and goods imported from Germany were expensive and usually high-quality so we only have a couple more of these.

I wonder what it says on the back, I can't read German, can anyone help?

Beautiful jar, I love it.

They don't sell tea in glass jars anymore here, everything is in plastic bags or paper boxes.

hot or cold, a good taste drink with orange dextrose, sugar, lemon, Vitamin C, aromatic, fruity, healthy, a drink for young and old, with orange taste, give two teaspoon in a glas and than mixed with cold or hot water, than stir.

Thank you m8, you are the best.

I would love to be able to read German, very difficult for me.

I now understand why they imported it to Bulgaria, Eastern Germany was part of the Soviet Block!

How old is that stuff?
You sure it's still safe to consume?

As I said I bought new tea and just use the jar for storage as they no longer sell such jars here.

You either don't read the threads completely or maybe you are catching LBR's disease----->RETARDATION.
