As some of you may know, my sister is unemployed. She graduated in law and can't find a job in her field. Competiton for jobs here is insane.

She was so happy today, she found a job........giving out leaflets to passersby, for 200 euros a month!

:(

The job interview is 200 km away, and she will go by train tomorrow.

Imagine how desperate a situation we are faced with.

Her friend, who also graduated in law is selling fruit and vegetables.

A neighbour, 27, just lost his job and he has kids to feed.

:sm (41):

Welcome to the Great Depression of 2009. Life in the US can be going about as normal but small countries are devastaed by the slump in global trade.

Bulgaria also has a budget deficit larger than its GDP. Unemployment is skyrocketing.

The health care system is expected to collapse in a few months, also pensions will have to be reduced.

Electricity consumption is 50% down compared to last year, meaning more and more factories and small business close down.

My parent's business is also ruined.

<=( soorr to ehard (actually read) that!

hang in there meatpie! your family is gonna get trough this!

I think the worse is yet to come...in winter when inflation hits the world.

This would be the most devastating consequence of the global economic.
