"REFLECTION"

Every now and then.....
it does me good to pause...
and REFLECT upon IT all.

This journey, this winding journey called LIFE.
We have known one another for some time now...
yet I do not know any of you really at all.

You could perish as could I .... and I would NEVER KNOW.
And you would never know likewise.
We know each other so well, yet so little.

Such a mystery, such a bewilderment.

Only the screen knows....that you are upon now..
Yet when this site is left, just a memory in cyperspace.

REFLECTION is good...
What is IT all about??

Does anyone REALLY know ??

Are we mere fluttering flames on nameless CANDLES....
.....full of light now..
Just to suddenly go "puff".... and the darkness reigns?

OR...does the candle reFLAME ?

Thank you....I wrote this last night upon hearing the tragic news of a good friend's death.

I was looking at the bigger picture, which such times force me to do. I wrote the piece in about one minute, after viewing the vid...which I found at "YouTube" shortly upon signing onto it.

I believe I was directed to find this candle vid and the words flowed to my fingers and onto the keyboard very rapidly.

It was a sign I believe...that my friend LED me to this candle vid...and inspired me to write the words I wrote.

I have had this occur before in my life in times of darkness and struggle....I turn to images and music to comfort me...and then the words flow.
 
Very touching. I didn't even move during the video. Tugged at this pup's heart. *sniff*
