Welcome to Eastern Europe.
As I said a deiner here earns 200 euros a month which is not enough to pay your bills, let alone buy food or clothes.
So the chief medical examiner told me in a private coversation and in a low voice so that no one hears us:
"You have to ask the families of the deceased to give you money for dressing the corpses. The slary is very low. But you have to be polite so that they will give you more, not 5 euros. Can you do that? I think you can."
"Isn't this against the law," I ask.
"It is but you will do it. All the other deiners do it and this adds up to their salary. They sometimes take up to 200 euros from families in a month".
"OK. I guess I will have to learn that do," I replied.
Welcome to my reality, my world my sick fucked-up eastern european country.
