As you can see from the above photographic images,
Chicago has many glorious gardens in it and exquisite parks.
The downtown district itself is on the
stellar shoreline of Lake Michigan,
one of the five Great Lakes of
these United States of America.

The official motto of the City of Chicago is "urbs in horto."
This is Latin for "City in a Garden"
and this is so very, very true.
