Now that's something you could do with a friend. It be fun to do a body cast of each other. Of course, if you had a hot dead guy, you could just dip him in the alginate until completely coated. You wouldn't even need to worry about breathing holes. After it set, it could be slit in the right places and removed in one piece. Then, you could make a master form and cast as many hot friends as you need.

This has got to be better than the old sand casting method. While it made a mold in fewer steps, you could make one. The sand casting is put in a kiln to dry and harden. This works well for the lost wax method. But, with a body cast it takes a few days and you have to blow the model's ashes out of it. ;-)
